Rachael Dempsey

BSc in Business and Management, Dublin Institute of Technology and recently completed the ACCA exams

I chose the Bank of Ireland Graduate Programme as I loved the idea of the rotations so I could experience different areas across the audit and finance functions. To date I have worked on budgeting processes and helped to prepare monthly finance packs. During my time in audit, I assisted in multiple assignments including the SOX controls and testing. I’m really enjoying utilising the skills I have obtained from completing the ACCA qualification and look forward to further developing my career in Audit with Bank of Ireland.

The best thing about working in Bank of Ireland is the people. Everybody is willing to help you develop and is happy to teach you during your rotations.
