BSc in Economics and Finance, University College Dublin
I’ve really enjoyed the broad experience I have gained via rotations across three different teams throughout my Graduate Programme experience. I worked in Corporate Banking and Global Markets for my first two rotations and am currently in Leveraged Acquisition Finance in Corporate Banking. I’m looking forward to roll off in September when I will become a permanent member of Bank of Ireland and will join the Leveraged Acquisition team full time. To date I have been given large amounts of responsibility which has enabled me to grow professionally. There has also been a strong mentoring element of the Programme and I look forward to continuing my development on the team.
My top tip for making it onto the programme is to make sure that you undertake as much research as you can before attending any interviews. It’s really important to show that you are dedicated and have a keen interest in the business unit you are applying to and also the Bank of Ireland.
