Our successful approach to partnership is helping to make us to be distinctive in the marketplace, and challenge the big UK retail banks, by offering consumers a genuine and accessible alternative that they can trust.

Description of business unit

Mortgage Service & Operations department are responsible for the end to end processing of new and existing mortgages consisting of all administrative tasks and customer call handling whilst meeting legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements. The department operates in a strong customer focused environment which is at the forefront of all decision making whilst managing fluctuating business volumes, increasing competition, stretching service targets and rapid change.

Purpose of the Role

We are responsible for the management and administration of new and existing customer activity, from initial application, and throughout the lifecycle of the Mortgage. We are a multi skilled department, and you will be expected to interact with our customers in writing and via the telephone.

Key accountabilities

Provide an excellent level of Customer Service

Be able to communicate with Customers in writing and verbally

Adhere to all legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements at all times.

Develop a sound knowledge of the Mortgage process.

Perform processing tasks to defined levels of efficiency and accuracy, working within departmental policies and procedures.

Adhere to the Banks core values to enable success, team work and excellent customer service.
