Through its Franchise partnerships, Bank of Ireland Finance offer a full range of motor finance packages specifically tailored to meet the funding requirements of business and personal customers. Band of Ireland Finance is also a leading provider of asset finance solutions to Business and Personal customers with a mobile sales team supporting the Banks Retail network.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to achieve / exceed sales targets for the asset finance business by managing existing asset finance relationships, developing new to bank relationships and establishing a vendor/supplier introducer network within the geographic area.

Opportunities exist in Donegal/Leitrim, Meath/ Westmeath and Dublin for suitably qualifiedcandidates who wish to develop their career in the past paced asset finance market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an introducer (dealer) network in your geography and utilise this network to retain existing BOI customers and develop new to Bank Business
  • Deliver a defined new to Bank business volume plan within your area through intermediary introduced business and by proactively targeting new to Bank asset finance customers
  • Develop an external marketplace presence through engagement with appropriate business groups and bodies both local and national thus building a profile for you and by extension BIF as the asset finance provider of choice
  • Utilise this marketplace presence and profile proactively to develop new business as part of both the BOI and BIF development strategies.
  • Create and regularly engage with, in conjunction with local management , a "Shadow Portfolio" of high propensity multiuser asset finance customers ensuring appropriate limits and product offerings are in place to meet customer needs
  • Achieve sales and financial targets by delivering quality business at acceptable margin and risk levels
  • In collaboration with local management and staff manage the delivery of asset finance targets for the branch and business banking outlets in your area through structured and well managed growth initiatives.
  • Display the highest standards of professionalism in the areas of customer service, credit delivery, and customer relationship management
  • Ensure all sales activities and documentation comply with business quality and compliance standards

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role
  • QFA

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of SME new business delivery both self-generated and through management of existing customers
  • Proven capacity to cover wide geographic area
  • Proven track record of credit assessment and analysis across multiple sectors
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining both customer and introducer relationships
  • Proven track record of high performance in previous roles
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Mobile sales experience
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification
  • Knowledge of products, policies, procedures, appropriate legislation etc.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Strong relationship and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated
