Business Banking is part of Retail Ireland within Bank of Ireland Group. Business Banking incorporates Bank of Ireland's full SME offering and includes Bank of Ireland's asset finance business (BIF) and Bank of Ireland Commercial Finance. The Business Banking team is responsible for the growth and management of the lending portfolio for Business Customers.

Purpose of the Role

To work as part of the Asset Quality & Pricing (AQ&P) team in ensuring prompt and accurate reporting of Risk and assisting with Pricing requests on the Business Banking Loan book to ensure the frontline can serve our customers brilliantly

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver on the key priorities of both the AQ&P team and the business.
  • Prepare Credit Forum and Credit Risk packs on a bi/monthly and quarterly basis and distributing as required.
  • Monitor the Pricing requests received from the frontline business and ensure a timely response to such requests and that the pricing decision is aligned to Pricing Policy.
  • Conduct sampling of pricing across the Business Banking Loan book.
  • Maintain pricing logs across the Business Banking Loan book
  • Work closely with Business Banking Credit & ROI Collections in delivering an exceptional support for the frontline lenders.
  • Participate as required in Business Banking Projects/Initiatives

Essential Qualifications:

MCC (QFA is the relevant qualification) or commitment to work towards achievement of MCC on commencement of role

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Sound judgment acumen - demonstrated in prioritising own workload effectively and pre-empting issues prior to them arising
  • An ability to meet demanding deadlines whilst at the same time managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with high integrity and self confidence
