Division Description

Led by the recently appointed Chief Marketing Officer, we are creating Group Marketing function which will develop a strong brand for Bank of Ireland, shaping and delivering a differentiated position for the Bank in the markets in which we operate. This will enable us to shape and deliver on our purpose to enable customers, colleagues and communities to thrive and to build the National Champion Bank in Ireland. The Group Marketing function will be underpinned by the following strategic imperatives designed to transform the Bank of Ireland brand: Customer planning across business under one group brand strategy and agreed brand pillar priorities, Deep brand & customer insight, Consistent & compelling customer communication across all touchpoints, Data driven marketing, Customer experience insight & innovation design, Integrated Technology transformation, Robust Marketing spend effectiveness & governance.

Description of business unit

This role represents an exciting opportunity to join one of Ireland's leading brands and support the development of a best in class marketing function.

The Enterprise Marketing team will manage all B2B communications to our Corporate, Business, Intermediary and Broker audiences. This team sits within the wider Marketing Communications and Brand team.

Purpose of the Role

This role is within the Enterprise Marketing team, managing a B2B audience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to deliver recruitment, retention and brand objectives.
  • Support in the implementation of the new BOI brand platform, ensuring strong, consistent brand messaging across Enterprise and Business banking marketing.
  • Continually measuring and learning for the future with a commitment to deliver all campaigns in line with business objectives (recruitment, retention and brand build) with campaign evaluation in place with appropriate business metrics.
  • Manage Marketing budget, with relevant business cases for spend as appropriate.
  • Deliver all activities inside agreed budget and manage all exceptional items appropriately. Ensure the approvals process within the unit is compliant with all spend subject to pre-approvals at the appropriate level.

  • B2B experience ideally in a digital environment, with a proven track record for delivering superior results
  • Strong relationship management experience with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional organisation and project management skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Good problem solving abilities through analysis and decisive action.
  • A creative thinker with a desire to be 'best in class'and high level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment and a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to clearly deliver compelling, well structured ideas, concepts and arguments. Strong written skills
