Description of business unit

The Base Management Campaign Execution Team plans, manages and executes an omni-channel data driven direct marketing and leads programme which deliver product sales into branches and direct channels

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the manager of the CampaignExecution Team to develop and execute the customer leads and direct marketing plan.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the planning, development and execution of new direct marketing/customer lead campaigns
  • Deliver direct marketing campaigns using a campaign management tool through flowcharts, macros, functions and derived variables
  • Analyse, design, build and test flowcharts for contact history and response history
  • Collaborate with the Base Planners to ensure the effectiveness of Campaigns
  • Support the move to a new Campaign platform
  • Support the execution of existing recurring Campaigns
  • Upload and execute email and sms campaigns in the current email/sms application
  • Ensure all business activity is delivered compliantly and in line with all relevant regulatory and legal requirement
  • Investigate any Campaign data queries
  • Carry out peer reviews of colleagues Campaign flowcharts

Essential Qualifications

Proven Campaign and data experience working in Campaign Execution Teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work to tight timelines, attention to detail and a tenacity to see things through to completion
  • Interpersonal skills/teamwork - ability to work effectively within a cross functional team and the ability to build relationships within a complex organisation
  • Good understanding of relationship database entities
  • Strong PC (Access, Excel, Word) & SQL skills

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a direct marketing or database marketing role
  • Experience working with campaign management software (e.g. IBM - Unica, Adobe/Neolane)
  • A knowledge of regulatory and compliance provisions relating to customer contact and data security (e.g. Data Protection and Consumer Protection Code)
  • 3rd level degree in IT, Marketing or related discipline
