The Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO) ensures focus on risk, and quality in IT@BoI, helping the organisation meet its financial, operational, performance and compliance objectives. OCOO provides independent operational governance, monitoring, and reporting in IT@BoI, working closely with Risk, Finance and HR Partners to ensure IT@BoI is operating in accordance with group standards and that IT@BoI requirements are being considered in these standards.

Purpose of the Role:

The Portfolio Management & Reporting Team Lead manages a team of Portfolio and Performance analysts, supporting the governance and management of the change portfolio including all components of the Integrated Plan.

ThePPM Analysts will join the Portfolio & Performance Management team and be responsible for the generation and analsysis of key reports and metrics in relation to IT@BoI portfolio.

This role also provide direct support to the CZ Project Management teams in the application of BDM to their projects and the reporting of same.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide holistic MI of change portfolio status covering all the relevant dimensions (e.g. financials, milestones, risks, issues, KPIs) to support decision making
  • Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reports are made available to all stakeholders using data from PPM tool (Clarity) with value add analysis
  • Leverage the available information to review and assess the portfolio for contribution to strategic goals and delivery of value, given resource, budget and risk constraints, identifying and acting upon areas of variance or non-conformance to plan
  • Support PMs and other project management resources in CZ in the application of BDM to their projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Project management / PMO experience essential
  • MS project - excel etc.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent excel and ppt skills
  • Attention to detail - accuracy and thoroughness essential with the ability to manage and follow procedures and controls.
  • Strong team work ethos with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
  • An ability to work in a changing environment and be flexible in responding to user needs.
  • An ability to deliver to tight deadlines in a busy fast paced environment
