Cloud Management Office Analyst

The Infrastructure Operations Team role is to "Enable the Service" through driving our partners in providing the Bank with the Technology required to run the business, securing the Customers and Banks data, improving stability and remaining current in order to provide a premier service.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the Cloud Management Office (CMO) Analyst is to support the Head of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) in the delivery of excellent customer service through the provision of Cloud support services. The CMO Analyst(s) will provide support across a number of areas including;

  • CCoE Governance
  • Audit & Regulatory support
  • Risks & Issues management & reporting
  • Process and controls
  • Cloud billing & financial management
  • Management Information (MI) reporting
  • Demand Management & onboarding of Cloud Services
  • Cost optimisation
  • Communications and training

Key Accountabilities

  • Support formal CCoE governance forums through creation of meeting packs and acting as secretariat for individual Boards.
  • Provide support and day to day oversight for all Regulatory, risk, audit and compliance engagements.
  • Responsible for day to day engagement with the Bank's Audit, Risk and Assurance teams.
  • Manage CCoE owned risks and issues to resolution.
  • Support development of and oversee governance for all new processes and controls required to support CCoE operations.
  • Develop and oversee Demand Management process and engage with key stakeholders to prioritise and manage requests.
  • Interrogate data on utilisation of services, ensuring that billing / costs are reconciled and opportunities for cost optimisation identified.
  • Develop and manage CCoE monthly and ad hoc MI reporting requests.
  • Support the Head of the CCoE in the delivery of a communication & training plan which will underpin activities to champion Cloud adoption across the Bank. Work with stakeholders to assist driving engagement and understanding of the CCoE service offerings.

Essential Skills & Experience

Key Requirements of this role:


  • Significant experience in Audit, Regulatory, Risk and Compliance engagements in a highly regulated industry.
  • Attention to detail - ability to review and assess complex data in order to qualify and identify and communicate key messages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build enduring relationships at all levels across the organisation.
  • Highly experienced in relation to financial management and reporting.
  • Extensive experience in using a range of software to develop comprehensive MI and reporting packs.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a heavily outsourced, multi stakeholder IT organisation.
  • Self-starter, highly experienced in workload prioritisation and ability to perform well under pressure.
