In line with the Banks broader objective to capitalise on the growth in the Irish Economy and the expected significant growth in the Group DC pensions market, opportunities now exist for ambitious and driven business development sales advisors to join the corporate sales team.

Purpose of the Role:

The role of the Corporate Sales Business Development Manager is to assist in driving the growth of Bank of Ireland's corporate pension and risk business and provide an enhanced customer service offering, supported by the Banks plans to deliver sophisticated digital technology. The role holder will be required to deliver targeted sales growth directly in the market and through the wider Bank Channels, including Business and Corporate Banking, Bank @ work and the broader retail network.

What is the Opportunity:

You will assist in driving the growth ofBOI corporate pension and risk business, providing an enhanced customer service offering, supported by new sophisticated digital technology.In assisting toachieve businessgrowth directly in the market and across all Bank Channels, you will be supporting the Banks strategic ambitions to be a market leader in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading Bank of Ireland's corporate pension & risk proposition directly to prospective new clients and through the Banks distribution channels
  • Delivering on agreed sales targets through the winning of new client mandates.
  • Leading and servicing existing corporate business relationships with some of our key client mandates
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of Corporate Pension business opportunities in the region
  • Working closely with our Corporate Pension Consultants to develop the membership and scheme assets under management with both new and existing schemes
  • Working closely with the corporate pension operations teams in Bank of Ireland Life to ensure delivery of outstanding service to our key corporate clients
  • Working closely with New Ireland's Product Management teams to support the development of our corporate pension's proposition and the digital strategy underpinning it
  • Supporting Bank of Ireland's messaging on pensions in the industry and across the Bank's business channels

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent and proven competences in communications, influencing skills and negotiating skills at executive and senior management level
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results, setting and meeting priorities, decision making and serving customers
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate pensions market with strong knowledge of corporate pension propositions across the industry and in particular of our key competitors
  • Strong understanding of the technical and operational aspects of corporate pensions
  • Strong level of knowledge in Pensions Act regulation, Revenue regulations in relation to pension advice and a strong understanding of the financial planning market
  • Requirement to make commercial decisions in respect of winning and managing corporate pension mandates

  • QFA

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Holds relevant pension industry qualifications
  • And/or working towards CFP
