The Portfolio Credit Risk Team is responsible for ensuring the appropriate credit risk management of the retail portfolios (mortgages / credit cards / personal loans / overdrafts). The mortgage and personal loans businesses are in a growth phase involving expansion to new market segments, distribution channels and products and the Portfolio Credit Risk team will have a critical role to play in supporting the growth agenda by providing analysis and emerging trends for the portfolios.
Purpose of the Role
The role is primarily be responsible for providing insightful analysis in order to support in-depth understanding of the profile, trends and issues within the mortgage and consumer finance portfolios and for making recommendations for change to lending policy, processes or models as appropriate.

You will work with an experienced and supportive team to enable the development of skill-set as a data analyst. Working closely with many areas of the business including credit policy, modelling & finance, your day-to-day and project based work will contribute directly to Bank of Ireland strategic objectives and keeping the bank safe through an uncertain economic outlook.
