Description of Business unit

Group Information Security (GIS) is a diverse, collaborative team with multiple skillsets. With global cyber threats constantly evolving, the team is critical to protecting one of the Group's most important and valuable assets: Information. GIS not only protect the security of the Bank but also enable colleagues to develop secure ways of working and to help them manage information security risk.

Purpose of the Role

TheSecurity Awareness team are education-driven, focusing on awareness, behaviour and culture. We help make security easy to understand to enable colleagues to perform their role securely and responsibly.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively support the end to end development and delivery of the Cyber Security Awareness Plan, thinking creatively and logically, and keeping up to date with emerging trends and cyber threats
  • Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the overall awareness programme
  • Help plan and execute the Group's simulated phishing campaigns, producing accurate MI, and work collaboratively to deliver interactive and engaging web based training
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Group in delivering the plan and to ensure alignment of key messages
  • Proactively champion the importance of information security across the Group, e.g. through focus groups, event management

What is the opportunity

You will work alongside subject matter experts in GIS and support the delivery of an interactive, engaging and relevant security awareness programme across the Group. Your work will help to raise the bar on information security awareness and behaviour, to help minimise the risk of unauthorised information access and to help keep our colleagues and customers safe from cyber threats.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A passion for the human side of cyber security and influencing human behaviour
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to write clearly, concisely and in the right tone of voice
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to engage with colleagues at all levels and areas of the organisation
  • Organised, flexible and with ability to prioritise tasks
