Description of business unit

Headed by Sean Crowe, CEO Markets & Treasury, the Division is responsible for managing the Group's leading treasury services for Retail, Corporate and Institutional customers in Ireland with niche businesses in the UK and US. Markets and Treasury looks after the management of funding, liquidity, capital and structural market risks to ensure the Group's balance sheet is managed appropriately to support its growth ambitions.

Markets & Treasury comprises the following businesses:

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide diary management and support for CEO Markets & Treasury, together with wider Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure quarterly/monthly/ weekly meetings are reflected in diary at all times
  • Attend various meetings, document actions and record minutes as required. Prepare relevant meeting packs (printing, binding & distributing) and manage attendance communications
  • Review and update Markets & Treasury Organisation Charts reflective of employee movements
  • Manage and organise travel arrangements inclusive of flights & accommodation for Markets and Treasury Senior Leadership team
  • Assume responsibility for room booking, facilities/catering management for all Senior Executive meetings within Markets & Treasury
  • Coordination of internal and external corporate events/meetings
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations/reports as requested by Senior Executives
  • Liaising with internal departments on a regular basis in order to ensure efficient running of the Business (Facilities /Stationary /Catering etc.)
  • Management of Archiving
  • Support the wider Strategy & Communications team on various activities
  • Processing/approving of expenses for CEO and leadership team

Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 -3 years' experience in an administrative support role within a Corporate or Professional organisation
  • Excellent PC skills in particular PowerPoint, Presentation Creation and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels across the business and divisions
  • Refined time management skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines in a manner that ensures a high level of Customer Satisfaction is provided at all times
  • Trustworthy, discrete and able to handle business information with the highest level of confidence
  • Keen attention to detail and well organised with the ability to manage own workload and team workload in line with changing priorities
  • Proactively work to build strong and effective working relationships with other Office Co-Ordinators and PAs across the Group's Central Functions and Business Divisions
  • Strong team player with flexible approach and ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
