The Actuarial Valuations team is responsible for the production of quarterly financial reports on the company value and solvency position for group, regulatory and external purposes. This team collaborates with other areas of the business producing invaluable financial insights and analysis which is shared across various functions for business purposes. This role offers the opportunity to get involved in technical analysis and financial reporting as part of a supportive team.
Purpose of the Role
This is an excellent opportunity which offers the successful candidate the opportunitytobecome apart of the Actuarial Valuations team.Thepurpose of the role is toassist in the calculation and reporting of the company value and solvency position on a quarterly basis in order to meet financial reporting deadlines and to share expertise and knowledge across the business.
What is the opportunity
The role is open to part qualified actuaries with strong analytical skills who would like the opportunity to play a significant role in the continued development of the financial reporting requirements of New Ireland Assurance.
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of analytical and development work which will draw on their strong technical, analytical and communications skills.
The role reports to the Financial Reporting Manager and will be based in the Baggot Plaza office on Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4.
The role holder will be a part qualified actuary or recent graduate with a mathematical or actuarial background, with 2+ years' experience working in the Life and Pensions business
