Description of Business Unit:
Business Banking is part of Retail Ireland within Bank of Ireland Group. The Business Banking team is responsible for the growth and management of the lending portfolio for Business Customers.
Business Banking directly employs approximately 40 people and works with a wide variety of stakeholders across Retail and the wider Group including our colleagues in Distribution Channels, Group Manufacturing, Group Credit and Group Risk.
The Sectors Team within Business Banking is a team of experts recruited directly from industry with a mandate to support our relationship managers and business advisors in winning new business, supporting borrowing requirements for customers and building the Bank's profile across key sectors.
Based on their individual industry expertise the Sectors Team within Business Banking is a key enabler of customer relationship development as each Head of Sector supports businesses across the country as they look to grow and invest in their businesses.
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sectors, you will develop Business Banking's strategy to grow our lending in this important sector.
What is the Opportunity?
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to lead and develop relationships with key public and private sector Manufacturing stakeholders. You will have overall responsibility for setting the strategic direction for the Bank in the Manufacturing sector.
This role also offers an opportunity to develop a strong knowledge of banking products and services as they relate to our Manufacturing sector customers and stakeholders and to develop a key proposition for SME customers.
