The Infrastructure Operations Team's role is to "Enable the Service" through driving our partners in providing the Bank with the Technology required to run the business, securing the Customers and Banks data, improving stability and remaining current in order to provide a premier service.
Purpose of the Role:
To work as a member of Technology Service's (TS's) Security Support Services team, governing and overseeing the Bank's service providers' BAU activities relating to data backup and restore (BUR), server anti-virus management and IT Security vulnerability remediation - through server patching and secure configuration management.
What is the Opportunity?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team responsible for ensuring that the Bank of Ireland's data and devices are appropriately secured. This is a key component of the effective management of IT risk within the Bank. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new knowledge and skills in relation to securing the Bank's IT assets and to apply his / her experience to positively impact the continuous improvement of the service provided by the team.
