Description of business unit
The Change & Release team, as a function within the larger Service Management Office, oversee the process for IT infrastructure and software deployments, carried out within theBank's production environment,for Planned and Emergency releases.
The team manage the FSC (Forward Schedule of Change) and the CAB (Change Advisory Board)Process, including the management of Change Related Incidents.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of Change & Release Analyst is to support business strategy and ensure delivery of agreedIT@BOIservice levels bycontrolling releases in a defined, planned and systematic fashion, whilst minimising disruption to end users of the affected services.
The Change & Release Analyst will also be expected to work on various projects across the SMO funciton, as availability allows.
