BBCS is an evolving dynamic team within Group Operations & Payments. The role holder will be responsible for consistently achieving a high level of operational efficiency, providing excellent customer service and delivering continuous improvements in performance and service levels. The role is suited to experienced Business Banking staff, or those with strong, recent experience in customer facing roles, who enjoy multi-tasking with a proven track record in team management.

Purpose of the Role:

Business Banking Client Services (BBCS) is responsible for the delivery of excellent bespoke , personal service to Bank of Ireland Business Banking Relationship managed clients. Strong leadership skills required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver excellent service and support to Relationship Managers and their business customers.
  • Maintain effective oversight of the status of each case and create and sustain an ongoing, effective, proactive dialogue with individual Relationship Managers in relation to their customers, highlighting where issues are apparent, proposing acceptable solutions and workarounds.
  • Deliver high volumes within SLA
  • Deliver ongoing process improvements
  • Customer Emersion providing regular feedback, survey results and verbatim on transaction based NPS

Essential Qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in a related discipline.
  • QFA is desirable

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Business Banking or frontline service role,
  • A strong customer focus and commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, (written and verbal).
  • Proven problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on demanding targets
  • Quality conscious and improvements driven
  • Self-motivated with good organisational skills
  • Knowledge of compliance, operational risk and regulatory obligations
  • Strong leadership skills with proven track record.
  • Agile, embrace change and transformation.

  • Experience in Business Banking or frontline Service.
