Description of Business Unit

The Home Buying & Ownership department is responsible for the end to end processing of new and existing mortgages consisting of all administrative tasks whilst meeting legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.

The department operates in a strong customer focused environment which is at the forefront of all decision making whilst managing fluctuating business volumes, growing competition, stretching service targets and rapid change.

Purpose of the Role

We are responsible for the management and administration of customer activity, from initial application and throughout the lifecycle of the mortgage. We are a multi skilled department and you will be responsible for providing a high quality of service and making the experience for customers as smooth as possible whilst also interacting with mortgage brokers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide an excellent level of Customer Service.
  • Be able to connect with Customers in writing and verbally.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements at all times.
  • Develop a sound knowledge of the mortgage process.
  • Perform processing tasks to defined levels of efficiency and accuracy, working within departmental policies and procedures.
  • Champion the banks core values to enable success, team work and excellent customer service.
