Description of Business Unit

The Home Buying & Ownership department is responsible for the end to end processing of new and existing mortgages consisting of all administrative tasks whilst meeting legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements.

The department operates in a strong customer focused environment which is at the forefront of all decision making whilst managing fluctuating business volumes, growing competition, stretching service targets and rapid change.

Purpose of the Role

We are responsible for the management and administration of customer activity, from initial application, and throughout the lifecycle of the Mortgage. We are a multi skilled department, and you will be encouraged to interact with our customers in writing and via the telephone.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide an excellent level of Customer Service.
  • Be able to connect with Customers in writing and verbally.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements at all times.
  • Develop a sound knowledge of the Mortgage process.
  • Perform processing tasks to defined levels of efficiency and accuracy, working within departmental policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Banks core values to enable success, team work and excellent customer service.

This job can be done anywhere in UK with the primary office location as Bristol to which travel may be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with line manager.
