12 Month Contract Mortgages Role, Based in Baggot Plaza, Upper Baggot Street

This purpose of this role is tocontribute to a best-in-classcustomer service offering for mortgage applicants between approval and drawdown and mortgage customer during the lifetime oftheir mortgage.

The focus of this role is on providing exceptional customer experience, working with stakeholders across the Bank as well asvaluers, solicitors and other 3rd parties to ensure a a seamless and tranparent mortgage journey for each of our customers.

This purpose of this role is to contribute to a best-in-class customer service offering for mortgage applicants between approval and drawdown and mortgage customer during the lifetime of their mortgage.

The focus of this role is on providing exceptional customer experience, working with stakeholders across the Bank as well as valuers, solicitors and other 3rd parties to ensure a a seamless and tranparent mortgage journey for each of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in ensuring that Bank of Ireland is the leading mortgage provider in terms of customer service
  • Provide top quality service to customers in each telephone/email interaction
  • Active engagement with the Mortgage Advisor sales network and familiarity with bank`s mortgage sales process
  • Working to targets of, mortgage drawdowns, call volumes and documents actioned
  • Referral of new business for mortgage related insurance
  • Provide team support on an on-going basis
  • Support ad hoc admin / project activity as required
  • Proactively participate in all team sessions where required
  • Keep up to date and manage regulatory, operational and administrative procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in all customer interactions
  • Support team working patterns for our 8am to 8pm customer service offering

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong customer focus and a proven commitment to the customer excellence standards at all times
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated drive and enthusiasm
  • Experience ina mortgages/ telephony role

Desirable:

  • Educated to minimum of Bachelor`s Degree level (Level 8 NFQ) or equivalent. (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience and understanding of the end to end mortgage journey, mortgage documents and regulatory requirements
