Purpose of the Role:

This role is key in contributing to the team's success by meeting with customers to explore their current and future banking needs with particular focus on Mortgages and related products.

The focus of this roleison providing exceptional customer experience, completing high quality financial needs review meetings.Understanding our customer's needs is a special skill which differentiates Bank of Ireland from our competitors. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a good knowledge of banking and business acumen and confidence around holding key discussions with ourcustomers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide quality service to customers in each interaction and play a key role in ensuring that Bank of Ireland is the leading provider in the local market.
  • Actively migrate transactions to appropriate self-service, on line and B365 delivery channels.
  • Proactive recognition and referral of new business and sales via Sales Excellence and actively pursue cross sales of Bank and Group products to meet weekly activity.
  • Provide team support on an on-going basis and proactively participate in all team sessions where required.
  • Keep up to date and manage regulatory, operational and administrative procedures as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in all customer interactions.
  • Keep up to date on credit policy and maintain high standards in lending while achieving credit growth.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.
  • Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role. Candidates must have QFA qualification.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong customer focus and a proven commitment to the customer excellence standards at all times.
  • Proven track record in Regulatory and Operational requirements.
  • Proven track record in identification of Sales Leads and Referrals.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated drive and enthusiasm.
