Purpose of the Role

This role is key to contributing to the team's success by meeting with customers to explore their current and future financial needs €" with particular focus on mortgages.

This advisor is also responsible for contributing to the following products - personal loans, credit cards, overdrafts, savings and investments, insurance, business current account through cross sale referrals

What is the Opportunity?

The focus of this role is on providing exceptional customer experience, completing high quality financial needs review meetings, and fulfilling those products and services through the prescribed channel (Direct, in branch, etc.). Also, this role plays a key role in supporting the business development activities in the team (e.g. supporting event management, securing customer meetings, proactive customer calls, etc.).

Key Accountabilities

  • Provision of an exceptional customer experience and ensuring quality customer outcomes
  • Fulfilling mortgages ranging from first time buyer and switcher mortgages to high value and complex mortgages such as self-employed mortgages, portfolio investor mortgages, co-directors mortgages, buy to let, self-build, depending on experience.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships and networks of contacts which result in the generation of business leads
  • To be an advocate for BOI in the local community
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agendas

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.
  • Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role. To be considered for this role an individual must be an accredited individual prior to submitting an application. Minimum acceptable level of accreditation: QFA

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong Credit experience with ability to maintain high standards in mortgage lending and good track record in submitting high quality Credit Applications.
  • Proven Track Record in achieving sales and income through quality FNR's with evidence of strong commitment to the delivery of Sales Models.
  • Strong Customer focus and proven commitment to enhancing Customer Experience and delivery of initiatives.
  • Strong external focus with good understanding of local market strategy with the ability to identify new mortgage opportunities.
  • Ability to establish relationships with key Customers/Influencers
  • Capable of taking a Leadership role within the team.
