Purpose of the Role

The Payments Programme PMO purpose is to provide clerical support to the Payments leadership and project managers to aid successful and compliant delivery of Payments IT Change in Bank of Ireland. The role comprises of management of Project Status Reporting, Governance, Financials, Quality and Resourcing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the Bank's Delivery Methodology, including Quality Assurance, is used and adhered to on the programme
  • Ensure status reporting is completed and of excellent quality
  • Ensure timesheets are submitted and approved in a timely fashion
  • Ensure team resource allocation across projects is maintained and updated
  • Maintain an accurate view of projects' forecast and actuals
  • Lead end to end resource requisition - raising a resource requisition, on-boarding activities and off-boarding
  • Collating the returns and updates required for the Bank's Delivery Project Management Office and Enterprise Transformation Office

What is the opportunity?

You will be given the opportunity to work with collaborative teams within Payments and across the broader IT Change portfolio including interaction with senior partners on a regular basis. You will be responsible for delivering on planned scheduled activities and also for responding to emergent, sometimes urgent, undertakings.

Please note you must live in the jurisdiction for the business to which you are contracted.

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 2years+ experience as PMO or within a similar/transferrable role
  • Attention to detail and organisation skills are crucial for this position
  • Solid understanding of IT processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential to be successful for this role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively as part of an impactful team

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications will be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of Payments an advantage
  • Technically literate an advantage
