Description of business unit:

The Group Change Delivery Project Management Office (DPMO) exists to enable effective and efficient change delivery and inform and advise the Bank on the performance and direction of its Change agenda.

DPMO provides operational governance, monitoring, and reporting on the change portfolio, working closely with partners from the Change Delivery Pillars, Group IT, Enterprise Transformation Office, Finance, Risk and HR.

The DPMO includes the following: Portfolio & Performance Management, Vendor Finance and On-boarding Management, Delivery Enablement, Communications & Training.

This role is included in the Portfolio & Performance Team.

Purpose of the Role:

The PPM Analyst will join the Portfolio & Performance team and assist in supporting the monitoring and governance of Group Change using Clarity and various associated reporting KPIs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in administration of Portfolio Performance Management governance processes.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reports to all partners using PPM tool (Clarity) data with value analysis, across achievements, risks, issues, KPIs.
  • Leverage available information to support review and assessment of the change portfolio for contribution to strategic goals and value delivery, given resource, budget and risk constraints.
  • Engage in internal PPM continuous improvement across processes and in the Clarity PPM tool. Working with the PPM team, assist Project Managers, Business Sponsors and Finance teams in identifying and acting upon variance or non-conformance to plan, data quality or governance compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

Leaving Certificate or Equivalent.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong reporting / analytics, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • PMO / Project Management experience
  • Proven teamwork ethos, able to work collaboratively within own team and with other departments
  • Strong communication and operational administration leadership skills
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to follow and improve procedures and controls
  • Resilient, flexible in responding to dynamically changing priorities, often with tight delivery deadlines

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Clarity PPM tool experience
  • Experience with reporting / MI tools, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI
  • Financials and Budgeting experience, including month and year-end processes
  • Project Management methodology certification
