Portfolio Management & Performance Support - Group Technology and Change

The Portfolio Management & Performance Support team is responsible for running and reporting the performance dashboards, monitoring and reporting on the current change portfolio and providing data analysis to facilitate demand prioritisation and planning.

They currently have an opportunity for a Portfolio Management & Performance Support Analyst. The key responsibilities of this role are set out below.

Location: This role is based in Dublin 2.

Reporting to the Portfolio Management & Performance Lead you will be responsible for the following areas:

Portfolio Management Support

  • Maintain and improve Enterprise Portfolio / Project Management tool Clarity to ensure an effective and transparent portfolio decision making tool exists
  • Create and improve templates to gather project information and provide to Portfolio Management & Reporting Leads to communicate these with project managers
  • Model the financial and non-financial implications of different portfolio mixes and provide this data and analysis to Portfolio Management & Reporting Leads to facilitate Business Partners in prioritising demand
  • Facilitate the preparation of portfolio proposals to be approved by the appropriate Governance Boards
  • Extract MI of change portfolio status covering all the relevant dimensions
  • Produce required reports and draft communications to be send to appropriate stakeholders
  • Model a view of the planned benefits and their impact on the Business for coming years

Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk
  • Appropriately escalate risk / issues regarding current portfolio status
  • Ensure full compliance with all Group, Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards

Management Support

  • Positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across IT as appropriate

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3rd level degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Key Requirements of this role:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and expertise:

  • Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills
  • Proven experience in performance management or cost analysis and control, especially in an IT context
  • Experience in KPI development, tracking, reporting and in performance dashboard creation / operation
  • A MSP / PMP qualification would be an advantage
  • Proven business analysis, cost analysis and control experience
