Our Business customers in particular, have dedicated Advisors available to discuss all of their financial needs, face to face or over the phone. Our ethos is to put the Customer at the centre of everything we do. We do this by focusing on relationship management and an integrated enhanced customer offering through our Advisors.

Purpose of the Role

This opportunity is key in contributing to the team's success by supporting the development of the Premier customer base by delivering an outstanding experience to our customers. The predominant focus is to grow the mortgage share of BOI through proactive management of referrals through the revised Premier model while also finding opportunities and referrals across the full suite of Bank of Ireland products.

Your focus in the role is on leading the journey of Premier customers through the mortgage process while also being responsible for proactively growing BOI's market share across all key lines. You will also be focussed on proactively growing market share in the personal segments by increasing our volume of new to bank Premier customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Meticulous pipeline management, promoting an Omni channel Customer experience.
  • Lead customers through the mortgage process and ensure smooth handovers where required.
  • Always on business development mind-set to complement the referral flow from premier relationship advisors and lead campaigns.
  • Proactively identify referral opportunities for Product Business Partners.
  • Strong diary management with detailed focus on proactive customer engagement.
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience with each interaction and embrace the "Be the Difference" mind-set, ensuring Premier customers are aware of the tailored service and benefits available to them.
  • Actively participate in Business Development Forums and events where appropriate for role, developing strong relationships with key intermediaries & influencers.
  • Help foster team engagement through congenial communication with team members and members of the wider Premier team.
  • Proactively update CRM.
  • Stay up to date with Mortgage regulatory requirements and adhere to compliance, risk and regulatory procedures.
  • Support front-line, agile colleagues and product partners to identify & generate referrals.
  • Work collaboratively within your team, actively contributing to achieve county expectations.

A consistent record in delivering commercial success from business development, effective needs analysis, sales delivery, risk management activities.

  • Ability to assess and complete sophisticated mortgage applications.
  • Customer centricity and ability to engage customer.
  • Champion the Bank's core values and purpose.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage credit illustrated through quality applications, adhering to mortgage suitability obligations.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a consistent track record to develop networks and relationships across BOI Group and in the local business community.
  • A dedication to using new technologies to develop and service prospective and existing customers.
  • Strong Customer focus and proven dedication to improving Customer Experience and delivery of initiatives.
