Purpose of the Role:

The Corporate & Institutional Treasury Solutions Team is part of the Global Markets Customer Group. The team has responsibility for providing a full range of treasury products and services to the Bank's Corporate & Institutional Customer base.

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Corporate Sales desk within the Corporate & Institutional Treasury Solutions Team in Global Markets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and grow Treasury Sales opportunities from a portfolio of sophisticated Corporate Customers.
  • Provide a professional and unrivalled service to our customers.
  • Inform and provide views to customers on factors influencing/impacting financial markets, offering product solutions that assist their management of Foreign exchange and Interest rate risk exposures.
  • Foster and develop strong working relationships with key business partners to maximise all Corporate & Treasury Cross Sale opportunities.
  • Professionally represent Global Markets at the highest levels in the international marketplace with internal and external customers, financial institutions and regulators
  • Take a pro-active role in shaping the future direction of the wider customer business in BOI Global Markets.
  • Pro-actively assist with Business Development growth initiatives for the wider team
  • Strong understanding and experience of the digital offering and have the ability to sell this solution and on-board customers to FXPAY
  • Knowledge and understanding of our obligations under e.g. MIFID II, compliance and regulation

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.
  • APA Savings and Investments

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A track record of delivering on challenging income and business growth targets.
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for developing relationships, delivering service excellence and differentiating our proposition from our competitors.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial markets and an ability to influence the Customer
  • Established experience in the area of Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Derivatives.
  • A self-starter with a strong team focus who will challenge the status quo and bring high energy to the team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, inter-personal and relationship building skills.
  • Understanding/experience of digital offerings with the ability to sell solutions and on-board.
  • Strong understanding and experience of the treasury regulatory environment.
  • Ability to positively impact and influence Senior Executives and Group colleagues.
  • Teach, coach and support more junior members of the team to adapt to new approaches, products and procedures
  • Ability to work within a team driven to achieve results, be accountable for building and delivering innovative solutions to meet customer changing needs
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with our stakeholders.
  • Have the necessary experience and demonstrate the ability to lead a project, initiative or committee.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Third Level University Degree in a relevant discipline.
