BOI Wealth Distribution comprises 3 market segments: Private, Premier and Mainstream.

Customers within the Private segment will be provided with a single point of contact - Private Client Manager - across Investment Management, Retirement Planning and Banking.

Purpose of the Role:

Private Client Managers will have responsibility for portfolios of c.250 customers and will be expected to service these customers across Wealth and Banking (day to day banking requirements will be supported through direct channels). Each Private Client Manager will be expected to meet with their customer base at least once a year and the segment is expected to generate minimum €400m in Wealth volumes.

As a Private Client Manager, you will work within a team which is collaborative, supportive and innovative, alongside colleagues who have an unrelenting passion and focus on customer service excellence. Successful candidates for this position will be tenacious and talented individuals, who are driven to achieve the best outcomes for their customers with a strong focus on productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a trusted advisor to the customers within your portfolio, providing professional, comprehensive and appropriate advice on all aspects of the BOI Private proposition (investments, retirement planning, protection, banking)
  • Develop an acute understanding of each customer`s needs and ensure that services and products are tailored to and address each customer`s requirements
  • Deliver stretching sales and financial targets within your customer portfolio relating to new business opportunity identification, acting at all times in the best interest of the customer and in a compliant manner
  • As the key relationship contact for a portfolio of customers, ensure you consistently enhance their customer satisfaction levels with BOI Group - minimum NPS of +20
  • Anticipate and capitalise on business opportunities, maximise cross-selling opportunities within the portfolio and keep up to date with changing customer needs and market trends / developments
  • Network with customers, prospects and potential introducers, ensuring a positive brand image for BOI Private segment at all times
  • Actively seek new HNW customer referrals from existing customers
  • Carry out regular financial reviews to ensure progress is being made in the achievement of customer objectives
  • Keep up to date with the market and product offerings and emerging trends and technology
  • Ensure all business to be converted and business transacted fully complies with both internal and external regulatory and compliance standards
  • Develop and implement case plans for all customers, prospects, introducers in your portfolio
  • Ensure up to date money laundering documentation, fact finds and written advice are in place for 100% of customers in your portfolio

Essential Qualifications:

  • MiFID IIauthorised.
  • Minimum competency requirements apply to this role. To perform this role, you must hold a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) qualification and must hold (or at a minimum be working towards, with a commitment to completing within 2 years of commencement of role) the Certified Financial Planner accreditation

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record of success and performance in a sales capacity in financial planning and wealth management
  • Proven experience in new business development and ability to build and maintain customer relationships at the highest level
  • Motivated sales professional with a clear passion for success
  • Digital adopter or native
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to build, develop and manage a network of contacts for business development purposes
  • Stature, professionalism and credibility to represent the Private segment of BOI with commercially sophisticated customers and introducers
  • Excellent commercial acumen with strong sales and negotiation skills as well as proven business development capability
  • An outstanding and demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at the highest level
  • Have a track record in effective networking, consistent achievement and out performance
  • Self starter with high levels of drive and energy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
