The Operations UK team are responsible for the provision of services to BoIUK, and onwards to the UK Post Office for the following Products: Deposits, Credit Cards, Current Account and Personal Loans.

The Operational Control & Oversight function within UK Operations manages the Account Opening/Servicing and 3rd Party (HCL) Outsource Management for the Deposits, Credit Cards and Current Account products.

Purpose of the Role

The Operator role has responsibility for achieving the business objectives by providing a high level of performance in fulfilment processing and quality assurance while ensuring the team are compliant with regulatory and internal procedures and guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work within a high performing team to deliver top quality service
  • Meet deadlines as set out in the SLA
  • Participate fully in the Customer Service ethos of the unit
  • Maintain absolute attention to detail
  • Work with the Continuous Improvement teams and contribute ideas and initiatives to improve our service offering
  • Ensure compliance in all activities

What is the opportunity

Opportunity to work in a fast pace environment and part of the Product Services Team in Bank of Ireland OperationsUK liaising with our stakeholders on a daily basis while having the opportunity to develop in your role and deal with challenging situation.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification

Experience working in a Financial Services business environment an advantage

Experience of working in a QA role an advantage

  • Proven track record of high quality performance
  • Evidence of strong customer focus to both internal and external customers
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to take responsibility and meet deadlines while at the same time delivering quality in all aspects of work
  • Excellent numerical ability coupled with perseverance and attention to detail, even in routine tasks
  • Strong evidence of team work
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Good analytical thinking
