This role is to manage a team of Corporate Account Managers in the North Region, covering Scotland, Northern Ireland, North West & North East England, Yorkshireand the Midlands.

To develop Bank of Ireland UK (BOI) business via Intermediary Partners, in order to support the delivery of the BOI PLUK Operating Plan and build and develop lasting relationships with our key Intermediary Partners within the UK.

Purpose of the Role

The role is essential to the company`s strategy of developing mortgage business via our Intermediary Partners in our chosen markets. The job holder will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching a team of Regional Corporate Account Managers to deliver the regional Intermediary mortgage market objectives.

This is an autonomous role, which requires a high levels of planning, organisational activity and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach and motivate a Regional team of Corporate Account Manager`s to achieve / exceed stretching Intermediary lending targets - within appropriate quality thresholds.
  • Ensure the Regional CAM team are deployed effectively and efficiently by designing territories of appropriate potential. With all costs managed within agreed budgets
  • Deliver personal sales performance in line with objectives - leading by example and motivating others by demanding targets, projecting an enthusiastic and positive image which inspires others.
  • To develop and maintain relationships within the Bank and our Intermediary Partners. To interact at all levels within the Intermediary market, to win hearts and minds in the external market and keep sloe to specific key regional/national accounts.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of a diverse and rapidly moving marketplace keeping in touch with competitor activity. Sound knowledge and understanding of mortgage regulation, the intermediary mortgage market and processes.
  • Excellent Communication skills required to be able to effectively communicate information to audiences with differing knowledge levels
  • Win new business
  • Maintain regular contact with Intermediary Partners and provide appropriate sales tools and support. Production of a regional sales plan.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous sales management experience within the Intermediary Mortgage Market.
  • Strong leadership with excellent influencing and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales delivery.
  • Experience of and an ability to build effective relationships to represent the business externally and internally at all levels
  • Leads in a way that energises and excites
  • Minimumeducation 5 GCSEs including Maths and English A-C or equivalent

Desirable qualifications, skills & experience:

  • Knowledge of systems and processes within the Bank, in connection with mortgage business acquisition.
  • Cemap qualification
