Senior Associate - Distribution and Channel Management - Savings

This is a key role within Savings UK to manage, develop and to optimise the performance of both online and offline (e.g. branch/telephony) distribution, acquisition and servicing channels across Bank of Ireland UK and partners.

This requires building and maintaining strong relationships across the UK Savings team, Partnership Directorate, Partners and 3rd Party suppliers to maximise the growth and long term value generated within the Savings business across all distribution channels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leads, with relevant Partner teams, the end to end direction for Channel optimisation
  • Identify, lead and provide direction for the prioritisation and delivery of the appropriate change agenda
  • Identify and lead delivery of capability to support end to end online and digital journeys critical to competing in a highly transactional, digital first market
  • Drive deep understanding of customer needs & aspirations, using this to recommend customer direction and ambition of Savings UK offerings across all channels for both existing customers and prospective customer pools.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Partner Marketing teams to identify and deliver channel relevant, customer centric, compelling and cost effective marketing and communication strategies / plans
  • Support the business in developing a customer-centric operating model within each Channel.
  • Working with Partner, support with training, incentive development and generation of product and proposition belief within Partner Branches.
  • Stay well informed and communicate to UK Savings team and Partnership colleagues changing market trends for Savings providers, new entrants and evolution of channel propositions, capability and value drivers.
  • Understand end to end customer journeys across each channel, identifying pain points and areas for improvement, working closely with the change team and UK teams to prioritise improvements to deliver customer and business results

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs A-C Grade including Maths and English or equivalent
  • Degree level qualification in numerate subject or equivalent is desirable

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Savings products, Digital acquisition and Network execution / channel management (including B2B2C models) would be beneficial
  • Experience in Customer Lifetime Value Management development and implementation
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus
  • Previous project management experience
  • Able to identify new opportunities and gain support
  • Collaborative style and strong stakeholder management skills
