Our Premier and Business customers in particular have a dedicated Senior Adviser available to discuss all of their financial needs face to face or over the phone. Purpose of the Role:

This role is key in contributing to the team's success by supporting the development of the Business customer base focussing on Business Lending and referrals to the various related Bank of Ireland Business product Businesses such as Global Markets, Bank of Ireland Finance , BOIPA etc

The Opportunity:

Career Development opportunity with BOI Retail and BOI Group and be part of a very successful BOI City Centre area team within the Retail Bank.

Key Accountabilities:

Business Performance - Activity

  • Proactive segment management
  • Meet customers at a time and place convenient to them
  • Identify & engage New To Bank customers
  • Complete Growth Meetings/PNR's/BNR's for Business/ Agri customers & New to Bank customers

Relationship - Customer & Community

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with each interaction.
  • Actively participate in Business Development Forums where appropriate for role
  • Attendance/Contribute to/involvement in networking events to generate new quality connections and business.
  • Develop strong relationships with key intermediaries & influencers

Risk & Operations

  • Proactively update CRM
  • Adhere to compliance, risk and regulatory procedures

Capability & People

  • Support front-line staff to identify & generate business referrals
  • Strong Business Acumen

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification.
  • QFA
  • Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with a proven strong track record in delivering commercial success from business development,
  • Sound business acumen
  • Customer centricity
  • Understanding of SME businesses and key sectors
