Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Project and/or Programme end-to-end execution and Delivery to cost, schedule and scope.
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate governance structures and effective communication processes
  • Ensure the appropriate programme management frameworks are in place, completing all necessary reporting, control and critical issue mechanisms
  • Run project/programme issues, risks, dependencies and mitigations.
  • Closely run project/programme change control within agreed processes
  • Manage the programme budget, monitoring and reporting the costs against agreed results
  • Manage the activities of internal teams, third parties, and other partners where appropriate
  • Ensure that all programme deliverables are to the appropriate levels of quality and manage business readiness and transitioning to live customer/colleague BAU operation
  • Robust maintenance of all programme documentation/registers and management of suitable governance for Risk management compliance
  • Constant challenge of approach to deliver better outcomes and ensure risk and controls of solutions are efficient
  • Maintain & supervise standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise risks
  • Ensure full compliance with all Group, Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards

Please note you must live in the jurisdiction for the business to which you are contracted.

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant third level qualification with additional professional certification

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering meaningful projects/programmes in the financial services sector where you had end-to-end project delivery responsibility
  • Track record demonstrable business value delivered from the projects/programmes where you led delivered
  • Experience of delivering strategic customer change initiatives
  • Experience in using agile methodologies
  • Ability to use Lean and Six Sigma tools to tackle complex product problems, satisfy critical to quality customer requirements and eliminate waste
  • Solid track record in delivering large scale efficiency programmes via process improvement/
  • 10 years + experience of leading change delivery projects/programmes including the ability to demonstrate;360 degree Partner/Relationship Management
  • IT delivery Process experience
  • Testing Process and Methodology experience
  • Risk & Compliance Management in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of financial services
  • Knowledge of technology is a distinct advantage (must be 'technically literate')
