About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Decision Science department within one of Europe`s oldest and most established Banks.
Within Decision Science we use advanced analytical and statistical techniques to optimise our decisioning models & strategies throughout the Retail portfolios (in RoI & UK) and ensure we make the best decisions for the Bank and our customers.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Analyst to join our Unsecured Modelling Team in Bristol, offering an opportunity to work on a wide and varied range of portfolios (Credit Cards, Loans and Overdrafts) across two jurisdictions (RoI and UK).
Who are we?
Credit Risk decisioning models and strategies are used extensively throughout the Bank of Ireland Retail Divisions across both RoI & UK. Each Retail Division includes Mortgages, Credit Cards, Motor Finance, Loans and Current Accounts & Overdrafts. Within RoI we lend through the Bank of Ireland brand, whilst in the UK we also lend through our partnership brands such as Post Office and AA.
Decisioning models and strategies are very important tools for the Retail divisions to help achieve their goals and ensure the right decisions are made for our customers. They are used to drive lending decisions, optimise account management practices, determine Pillar I Regulatory capital requirements and quantify `on-book` & `off-book` credit risk.
