Partner Relationship Management, Supplier Risk Management & Governance and Procurement Services & Transformation support to all Divisions and Business Units. Group Procurement is part of Group Technology & Customer Solutions.

We facilitate the effective purchase of goods and services across the Bank. We do so with the aim of maximizing value from our total spend whilst protecting against supplier risk.

The Business Partner Management function incorporates Category Business Partnering and Strategic Partner Relationship Management.

This job can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. The primary office location is Dublin, to which occasional travel will be required, exact frequency to be agreed with manager.

Key Accountabilities

This role provides support in the management of the Software budget and the overall budget for Group Procurement & Partner Management function

  • Work with Outsource Service Provider and Bank Retained Team to ensure that the software budget is managed and maintained including accruals, forecasts etc
  • Work with Finance on any queries and resolution and provide reporting on a monthly basis
  • Management of the overall Procurement team budget, including accruals forecasts etc
  • Keep budget file current and back up on a daily basis
  • Query management including goods receipt and resolution into all software payments
  • Process all software requests shopping cart and payments, including new software and renewals
  • Liaise with Outsource provider on all new Software requests and keep budget up to date
  • Liaise with Outsource Provider to ensure all software renewal quotes are received from Third parties and processed in a timely manner to ensure payment and no risk
  • Work with Outsource provider to identify and report on savings for software to ensure budget is current
  • Reconciliation on issues to ensure they are worked through
  • Develop and/or monitor and report an agreed set of KPIs and SLAs
  • Sourcing support as may be required to support BOI Procurement team
  • Support the Business Partner in their interactions with business stakeholders
  • Working with the Group Procurement and Partner Management Leadership Team and Group Finance, set and manage the function's annual operating budget
  • Other activities that may be required from time to time

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Relevant business experience in a similar role
  • Budget management experience
  • Analytical, logical and interpretive ability
  • Ability to influence others using logical analysis and persuasive discussion
  • Ability to explain the complex simply, to maximise understanding in others
  • Ability to understand and manage budgets
  • Ability to manage complexity and a high volume of data with attention to detail
  • High standard of numerical and verbal literacy and consistency
  • Ability to re-prioritise and re-focus at short notice where required
  • Knowledge of software processes
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve team objectives
  • Good organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Applies common sense and judgement - able to use their experience to rapidly assess situations and make decisions and act at pace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially excel

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • University degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • A professional qualification in Procurement e.g., CPSM, CIPs, IIPMM
  • Experience of Banking, Financial Services or other regulated environment
