We are currently seeking applications for a Talent Development Manager to support our HR Programme Function on a 6 month contract basis.

The HR Programme function is responsible for all HR projects and programmes (excluding business change led by the HRBPs), the leadership and management talent and capability agendas, the HR/People Risk agenda, the HR elements of the Individual Accountability Regime, developing all inputs to the UK plc Remuneration & Nomination Committees, the Be At Your Best Programme, supporting the HR Director on the development of the People Strategy and for all HR reporting to Group and UK plc Management and Board Committees

Reporting to the HR Project Manager the successful candidate will manage the delivery of a number of HR projects focused on Development, including Manager Development Plans (MDP), Learning Development Plans (LDP), Mentoring, and Coaching, they will also:

  • Manage the design and implementation of the Leadership and Management Development programmes, ensuring content is aligned to business strategy and is reflective of the latest industry and market trends and development.
  • Support the HR Project Manager in managing the agenda and developing inputs into the quarterly BOI UK Talent & Capability Board.
  • Manage the relationship with the UK Coaching Panel for leadership talent.
  • Implement any Group Learning and Development initiatives in the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Track record of designing, implementing and management of leadership and management development programmes.
  • Experience of managing and engaging with Coaching Panels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proven track record in a professional HR environment.
  • CIPD qualified.
