The Valuations team sits within Retail Credit Risk (RCR) and is part of the Bank of Ireland (BOI) UK Risk function. The team`s function within RCR provides oversight on mortgage valuations undertaken for the Bank to make knowledgeable decisions for its residential and Buy to Let mortgages.

This is a busy and varied administrative role where you will fully utilise your excellent communication skills to build rapport both internally and externally. Based in Bristol you will be part of a wide team offering good career opportunities should you wish to further develop.

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily management and accurate processing of valuation instructions.
  • Allocation of valuation instructions
  • Daily management of the Bank`s valuation panel
  • Resolve issues relating to outstanding/delayed valuations.
  • Rigorous control of surveyor monitoring databases
  • Timely processing of routine correspondence and payments to Bank vendors within SLA.
  • Production of daily and monthly reports
  • Answering queries from surveyors and other internal departments
  • Monitoring Operational Risk for the Department

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous administrative/customer service experience advantageous
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Problem solving, logic, and reasoning skills
