This role sits within the Portfolio & Performance Management Team, part of the Office of the Chief Operating Office (OCOO).

The OCOO co-ordinates activity across IT@BOI. It ensures focus on risk, quality, efficiency and effectiveness, helping the organisation meet its financial, operational, performance and compliance objectives.

The Vendor Finance Team manage the administration of all IT vendors for Bank of Ireland and liaise with key stakeholders.

  • Manage the administration of all IT vendors, processing Internal Orders, Purchase Orders set up and Top Ups and approving invoices for payment, working with Group Procurement Ops to ensure timely and efficient processes are maintained.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers in the IT Department ensuring PO`s are set up in an efficient manner and ensure the correct budgets are in place to pay invoices.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with external vendors. Liaise directly with recruitment agencies in relation to contractor extensions and any other vendor issues
  • Manage UAM requests for all direct reports
  • Manage actively the vendor creditor days for the department
  • Work closely with Procurement team in relation to all SOWs/Contracts/Engagement letters
  • Work closely with Finance Business partners on vendor finance matters and monthly accruals
  • Facilitate the signing of all contracts/WO/SOW/Engagement letters by senior management.
  • Act as Procurement Champions - responsible for all goods receipting and ensuring all POs are balanced
