What does a day in Bank of Ireland look like?

My day generally revolves around understanding complex processes, trying to find automated and innovative solutions.

It’s up to me to initiate discussion with our vendors and internal teams. I make sure to check in and carry out testing to ensure our teams delivery of these projects.

Finally I’m in charge of creating and enhancing our performance/portfolio reports and scorecards.

What's the best thing about your job?

The best part of my job is that I work at a place that encourages me to decide my career path. Working at Bank of Ireland gives me the freedom to think and most importantly I’m surrounded by people who know they work in an environment where people trust each other.

 

What challenges you in your job?

Every day brings something new and exciting. It’s a challenging task working and testing on a variety of projects, but within this there are huge opportunities to learn and craft my skills.

 

What gets you up in the morning?

I'm lucky to be a part of such a wonderful team and I look forward to seeing them everyday.
