There is no such thing as an average day which is what I really enjoy about my role, each day brings new challenges from dealing with Brokers regarding Pension and Risk Clients to learning about new Investment Funds that may have been launched.
The main focus of my role is to ensure that we provide a top class service to Brokers and Agents to retain and increase business opportunities.
I am currently a Be at Your Best Ambassador, which is a BOI Group initiative to support colleagues in improving their physical fitness levels and to develop more agile ways of thinking. I am really enjoying this additional role as it has broadened my knowledge about the organisation and has given me the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people. It is a role that encourages fresh thinking which means that I can work with enthusiastic and energetic people who share a passion in the projects we carry out.
We deal with numerous people across the business on a day to day basis and as the company is so large you may never meet the people who can play a key part in helping you see a task through from start to finish!
The environment that I work in is very dynamic and positive with a great sense of camaraderie between co-workers, it is challenging but also very rewarding and there is always something new to learn!
