This role provides the opportunity to work across retail products, developing your knowledge of credit risk within retail banking.
It is a role which makes the most of your analytical capabilities and for which you will receive training in both technical and non-technical skills, including coding, analytics, communication and presenting.
Best of all, you will help to shape a brand-new function within a skilled and highly experienced team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to explain some complex and technical information to colleagues who may not have such a technical understanding.
Organised with great attention to detail
Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
Previous experience within a Credit Risk function would be extremely advantageous, particularly if you have a good understanding of IFRS9.
A broad understanding of the economic environment and how this may drive losses would also be helpful, as would any exposure to credit risk models.
There are no minimum educational requirements for this role.
The Retail Credit Risk Team is part of the UK Risk function which is a critically important function within BOI UK, responsible for ensuring the correct credit risk decisions and management of the Mortgage and Consumer Finance portfolios.
The Retail Credit Management team are a highly visible and dynamic area within Retail Credit Risk and are responsible for ensuring that decision makers within the bank are provided high quality analytics and information to enable effective and informed tactical and strategic decisions, covering all products.
