What is the opportunity?

This role gives the right person the exposure to a broad array information security domains as the Information Security Response team is involved in all IT changes to Bank Of Ireland systems including new software, new suppliers, new project delivered solution, BAU systems changes and Firewalls. Working with a well established team that is constantly evolving its services to ensure effective delivery of its services.

In this Role, you will

1. Conduct or assist in objective assessments of the security aspects of project solutions to

• identify any control gaps in the End-to-End data journeys.
• identify and document where the design introduces risk to Bank of Ireland or compounds an existing risk.

1. Carry out objective assessment of firewall change requests to ensure that each change or series of changes to firewalls:
2. Conducting Security Supplier Due Diligence assessments of 3rd Parties hosting, accessing, or processing Bank Of Ireland Group Data.

What will make you stand out?

We are looking for someone with experience of, or wish to shift their career into CyberSecurity. You should have proven your desire to get immersed into the Cybersecurity world and develop a career with Group Information Security. As Cybersecurity has many facets, a good level of understanding of the fundamentals of Cybersecurity would be advantageous, but also the necessary soft skills to be able to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience. In addition, a good understanding of BoI's Operational Risk management framework would be beneficial.

Essential Qualifications

This role is aimed at internal staff with one or more of the following:

• Completion of the Bank Of Ireland Cyber Security Pathway, or
• Professional body certification -e.g. SSCP, AZ900, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or
• 3rd Level qualification in IT
