This is an opportunity for a keen technologist to work in dynamic team who are focused on the development and delivery of the IT Strategy for the Bank of Ireland.
The lead architect will engage with peer Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Change colleagues, business and IT stakeholders and will work in a well-established, respected, collaborative and supportive EA team.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing enterprise architectures and have broad experience across infrastructure domains including operating system, virtualisation, networking, database, digital workplace, storage, AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud.
You will have familiarity with infrastructure enablement of AI solutions and I&O AI use cases, strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Be able to create a shared purpose vision and direction and encourage others to work towards it.

As a Lead Architect you will be integral to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team. A well-established and respected team who are passionate about modernising and simplifying the technology of Bank of Ireland to enable the best experiences for customer and colleagues.
The team is innovative and knowledgeable, with skills in IT Architecture, IT Consulting, and deep technology understanding. These skills are used to build IT Strategies, Roadmaps, and Architectures that drive the transformation of the Bank's technology.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration -exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
