This is an excellent opportunity for you to join General Investment Trust as Managing Director and will lead our pension trustee companies. Working with the Board of the Master Trusts the Managing Director will have responsibility for the legal, regulatory and operational leadership ensuring effective oversight of the management of the master trusts.
The Code of Practice for Trustees requires the Managing Director to be fit and accurate for the role. This means that we require the candidate to have either one of the trustee qualifications listed on the Pensions Authority's website, or have recent experience as a trustee or a director of a trustee company.
General Investment Trust DAC is trustee to Navigator Master Trust, which currently holds c.€1.4 billion in assets and c.35k members, mostly in public sector AVC plans. Dawson Master Trust DAC is trustee to New Ireland Master Trust, which holds c.€2.5 billion in assets for more than 60k members, using the MP365 platform. Both companies are led by Boards made up of independent Non-Executive and a Group directors.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in person teamwork exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
