New Ireland Assurance Company is the first wholly owned life assurance company to transact business in Ireland. We provide life assurance, pensions and investment solutions to individual and corporate customers.
We are looking for positive people with a winning mind-set who will innovate and grow with our customers.
Each programme stream offers a rotational experience across different areas in the Bank. Each rotation is specifically developed to enable Graduates to develop the critical skills that will accelerate your development and growth.
During your three rotations, you will build strong management, interpersonal and technical skills, as well as getting exposure to business critical projects in a fast paced environment.
You are empowered throughout to seek new experiences and expand your network through cross collaboration. You will have the opportunity to experience different areas of the business, or to contribute to meaningful transformation projects that support our Group strategy.
We are one of the largest actuarial departments in the industry! The Company has a strong focus on product innovation and your training will take place in one of our many actuarial teams, each offering a variety of different experiences.
You will be involved in numerical analysis, gaining a deep understanding of Actuarial Principles and building commercial awareness of the life and pensions industry.
Working with colleagues across a variety of business areas allowing you to build a substantial network across the Bank.
Through our unique Digital Academy, you will also be able to explore opportunities and future career paths, as well as receiving top-class mentoring through our Mentorship Programme.
Members of the Graduate Programme have strong visibility with regular touchpoints with Leadership, including the CEO and Executive Committee.
Our Graduate Programme is often a feeder into one of Bank of Ireland's talent programmes which are designed to accelerate the growth of identified impactful individuals.
To support your professional development, you will receive full educational support from the company in pursuing the Actuarial exams. Our Actuarial study package is one of the most comprehensive in the market and includes study leave, support materials and a peer mentoring system.
In addition to this you will embark on a tailored Graduate Development Programme; a blend of virtual and classroom training, facilitating connections with peers, the organisation, and its culture. Over the program's duration, you'll develop crucial skills ranging from relationship management, Business Promotion Techniques and presentation techniques and financial well-being.
At Bank of Ireland, we are committed to providing you with significant flexibility to help you to thrive. Key to this is our hybrid working model. We have administrative buildings, remote working hubs, and work from home options that are centred on enabling and empowering you to work in a way that is more flexible and productive for you. To ensure we work effectively as part of our teams and the wider organisation, the approach will vary given the nature of the role, your individual preference, and your team's agreed ways of working.
We offer opportunities to students who have achieved, or expect to achieve, an Undergraduate or Master's Degree from all subject areas (or equivalent), however students or Graduates from the fields of Actuarial Science, Mathematics or similar (e.g. Physics) may be particularly suited to this area.
We are interested in speaking with a diverse range of people from various academic, societal and geographical backgrounds that will inspire and help us grow as a bank.
