What is the opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to drive the delivery pipeline for multiple Agile teams helping them deliver digital software solutions at pace and with high quality. You will be a key contributor in amplifying our Agile capability and bringing consistency in our delivery approaches.

You will be part of a growing team and a strong community engaged on a range of exciting initiatives that support the bank's investment portfolios!

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate and champion Agile practices within the bank, ensuring that Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives are effectively conducted.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage teams to identify and address impediments, driving their self-organisation and accountability.
  • Empower squads to collaborate and self-organize effectively by facilitating team dynamics and fostering an environment of trust, open communication and transparency.
  • Help the squads embrace Agile mentality and behaviour, promoting a culture of innovation, flexibility, and customer-centricity.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between the squads, product owner and collaborators.
  • Help define and refine the backlog items, ensuring they are clear, concise and actionable. Facilitate discussions. helping the team to reach consensus and make informed decisions.

What will make you stand out?

  • Solid experience in a Scrum Master role facilitating and champion Agile practices within the organisation
  • Knowledge of the Corporate and Commercial Banking business area and process knowledge.
  • Scrum Master or Agile delivery certification (.e.g SAFe)
  • Knowledge of IT systems and capabilities specifically in Oracle.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and empowering squads to collaborate and self organize.

Our Corporate & Commercial Banking Release teams sits within the Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery Factory and provides critical Engineering services to support the Bank's change programme of initiatives. The Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery factory operates a 'one team' culture delivering across Design, Engineering and Test. We operate across a diverse range of technology and business domains collaborating with other engineering functions, Enterprise Architecture and business customers.
