This is a Group role which forms part of a technical team which is focussed on developing Tableau based reporting and data visualisation for business leadership across all aspects of data using a variety of platforms including the Tableau, Teradata, Cloudera, and Google Analytics.
Work in an agile, hybrid way to deliver key performance Insights to Stakeholders across the Bank, to enable data driven decision making!
The successful person will have proven experience developing data visualisation through Tableau or an equivalent software platform and have a track record as a software developer for a comparable technology and/or capability focussed in the Data space.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of developing Regulatory & Finance reporting and Data Insight & Visualisation for Financial Services Companies, and have extensive experience of coding in SQL, Tableau Reports and Dashboard Development.
Other experience includes;
Reporting to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), the Strategic Analytics team is responsible for the development and execution of the Bank's data analytics strategy. The role holder will deliver value-prioritised analytics projects that are closely aligned to the Groups strategic ambition in a scrum team on behalf of internal customers; and contribute to identifying appropriate framework tools and standards to enable Bank of Ireland to become a data driven organisation at all levels of the company.
This job can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
