What is the opportunity

This is an opportunity to develop valuable technical skills in campaign execution and data analysis where you will play a critical role in delivering the customer communications for the bank.

You will work with the Campaign Planning team to build and validate campaign briefs which are then built and driven using a variety of internal and external vendor tools across the various communication channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the planners to build a viable campaign brief.
  • Identify and resolve issues in client instructions prior to execution.
  • Implement the entire campaign process, from instruction receipt to file production, with zero defects on a continuing basis.
  • Extract data needed for client requests, create queries to validate campaign audiences, and construct queries joining to multiple tables using SQL.
  • Coordinate campaign tasks with the CET and communicate status.
  • Build complete QC queries or scripts to verify completeness and accuracy of file output.
  • Support the automation journey within the team as appropriate.
  • Deliver to timelines by balancing multiple priorities in a multifaceted and fast paced environment
  • Support management through positive and proactive participation within the team and active collaboration with colleagues across the programme as appropriate
  • Maintain and monitor standards, controls, processes etc to minimise business and IT risk, while ensuring full compliance with all group, legal and regulatory requirements and standards

You have a customer-focused demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills as well as being a committed team player with positive winning mentality. You can articulate complex requirements and findings in common non-technical terms and can navigate and manage complex systems whilst retaining attention to detail

Experience in the following is crucial!

  • Data manipulation and creating segments and use of UNICA and Xtremepush
  • Experience of creating and delivering customer campaigns

More about the team

The Campaign Execution Team (CET) drives the marketing and regulatory communication campaigns that support the acquisition and retention of customers for Bank of Ireland. Our execution channels are Direct Mail, Email, SMS, Push & In App Notifications. The CET works with the Campaign Planning Team to translate the client marketing requests into actual output files containing the customised selections that define the campaign audience. The CET is then responsible for the execution of those campaign files using a variety of technical solutions.
