What is the opportunity?

As a HRBP, you will play an integral role in the delivery of the People Strategy across the Group as we continue on an exciting journey of transformation. You will build effective and robust people plans and priorities aligned to business strategy. The HR Business Partners are active and influential members of the Leadership Teams they support, acting as trusted advisors.

*This is a 12 month fixed term contract*

In this role you will:

  • Support the Head of Business in delivery of the People Services Strategy
  • Lead business units through change & transformation
  • Develop solid relationships with relevant Leadership teams across the areas that you will support to ensure timely delivery of People Strategy initiatives.
  • Manage the annual people processes for the area including coordination of performance achievement, salary review and employee engagement
  • Guide the leadership teams, drawing on business understanding and HR expertise to influence and support decision making to strengthen their leadership capability.
  • Drive talent management, by working with leaders to ensure robust talent succession, talent acquisition, development and retention plans, and solutions are in place and being actively led.
  • Drive data driven decision making ensuring that business leaders are using key people metrics to support the delivery of their strategy and initiatives.
  • Support in the successful conclusion of industrial relation/employee relations issues as they arise.
  • Leverage HR Centres of Expertise to meet the strategic needs of the divisions and ensure the delivery of quality HR services to the businesses.

What will make you stand out?

  • Experienced & credible HR professional with seasoned experience working in a HR related field.
  • Solid experience of leading and managing business units through change / transformation
  • Expert knowledge of the core HR fields with a high level of confidentiality due to the nature of the role
  • Shown experience of successfully influencing and advising key business decisions and driving change. You are a strategic problem solver with excellent business discernment and an ability to understand the needs of the business and use HR thought leadership to develop and deliver solutions.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills with confirmed ability to influence both internally and externally at the highest levels, demonstrating emotional intelligence, resilience and independence.
  • You have developed coaching skills and the ability to provide professional advice and act as a 'sounding board' for business leaders.
  • A highly impactful and skilled communicator in both written and verbal formats.
  • A strong desire to work with agility at all times, focussing on continuous improvement and delivery.
  • A passion for wanting to make a difference.
